What you'll be doing:

As a Senior Sous Chef you will be responsible for planning, preparation, cooking and presentation of food to the standard required by the Company and the Client. You will also be responsible for all stock control, waste control and ensuring that all hygiene and H&S requirements are met to the highest standards.

The role reports in to the Executive Chef. Given the nature of our business, the role is pre-dominantly a day time with the occasional weekend/evening work. Lunch times Mon-Friday are our busiest areas

We have also just moved in to a new kitchen which has state of the art brand new equipment.

Your responsibilities:

  • Ensure the kitchen operates smoothly and delivers a speedy, quality consistent food offer in line with company standards
  • Be responsible for the kitchen on a day to day basis to deliver across catering, hospitality, production, pop ups, 3rd party deliveries, franchises and digital led offer (Kiosks/Apps etc.)
  • Be responsible for in unit food safety within the kitchen, in line with company procedures.
  • Ensure all menus follow the correct recipe cards, GPs are managed effectively through operational process'
  • Be a leader who operates by example, support, train, develop individuals
  • Work with Exec chef to develop the culinary offer across campus to drive sales.
