Salary: up to £40,000 per annum + up to 32% bonus per annum, paid quarterly!

About the role

As our Senior Sous Chef, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, supporting the Head Chef in delivering high-quality, fresh food. You will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen brigade, ensuring smooth service during high-pressure periods, and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality. This is a hands-on position where leadership, organisation, and passion for great food are key.

Who we're looking for

• Previous Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef Experience: Ideally, you've held the position of Head Chef in a slightly smaller venue or, are a Sous or Senior Sous in a larger, high-volume restaurant.
• Volume Service Expertise: You have experience working in fast-paced, high-volume kitchens where exceptional guest satisfaction is the top priority.
• Team Leadership: You are confident in managing and motivating a kitchen team, ensuring a collaborative and positive work environment.
• World Class Service: You're passionate about preparing fresh, locally sourced ingredients and delivering consistently high-quality dishes.
• Organisational Skills: Ability to thrive under pressure, maintain kitchen standards, and manage multiple tasks during peak service periods.
• Energetic & Enthusiastic: You bring energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude to your role, inspiring your team and always pushing for excellence.
