Solutions Specialists are responsible for ensuring and evangelizing the functional and technical excellence of Ross products both internally within the company and externally to business partners and customers. Within Production Workflow, Solution Specialists focus on a specific subset of workflows that integrate with the wider Ross ecosystem. These solutions include OverDrive, Quorum, Inception, Streamline, Media I/O and Mira.
Solutions Specialists are responsible for ensuring and evangelizing the functional and technical excellence of Ross products both internally within the company and externally to business partners and customers. Within Production Workflow, Solution Specialists focus on a specific subset of workflows that integrate with the wider Ross ecosystem. These solutions include OverDrive, Quorum, Inception, Streamline, Media I/O and Mira.
Solutions Specialists bring highly specialized product and industry knowledge and work as a subject matter expert across the entire spectrum of Ross activities including development, marketing, sales, services delivery and technical support. Solutions Specialists have a deep knowledge of the industry verticals served by Ross products and often act as the voice of the customer for internal discussions.
In this role, Solutions Specialists act as a representative for Ross, explaining operational and technical information in a way that is relevant and meaningful to business partners and customers. The Solutions team works together to explore, validate and document evolving workflows across the Production Workflow portfolio.
While Solutions Specialists work to develop an understanding of the entire Production Workflow family of products, each team member will build from a specific core area of expertise. The Production Workflow Solutions team is looking for an additional team member with a strong background in control room workflows and experience with OverDrive or other automated production control solutions.

What the job is all about:
- Gather market knowledge on the constantly evolving problems our customers face and feed that knowledge into product management, product development and product marketing.
- Strategize with product management on how to best offer solutions for the greatest challenges our customers face.
- Network with our customers and collect feedback on Ross and competitor solutions.
- Aid in testing and validation of new workflows for all Ross solutions.
- Support the Ross services team in the development of new training offerings targeting Channel Partners and Ross customers.
- Provide guidance to the Development Team during the design and build of new features.
- Participate in trade show planning and execution including building demo content, providing customer demonstrations and assisting with customer discussions.
- Assist Regional or Key Account Sales Managers and Business Development Managers with responses to tender documents including operational and technical requirements, demonstrations and proofs of concept.
- Support Sales and Solutions Architects in the generation and closing of deals including providing demonstrations, discussing key workflow benefits and technical considerations, developing system designs, assisting with quoting and documenting customer requirements.
- Share product and industry knowledge internally through training and presentations.
- Create documents, videos and presentations explaining Ross solutions for both internal and external use as needed.
Who you are:
- 5+ Years of industry experience (Broadcast, Media Production)
- 5+ Years of experience with any or all of the following Ross product (or like-products from other Vendors):
- OverDrive
- Inception
- DashBoard
- Primestream or Streamline MAM
- XPression
- Ross Production Switchers
- Media I/O
- Able to take complex technical details and convey the information to others in an easy-to-understand manner
- Able to work effectively remotely with solid communication and time management skills
- Proficient in word-processing, presentation and spreadsheet products like Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Proven ability to train adult learners within a technical framework
- High level of customer service experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to problem solve and trouble shoot
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing environments
- Fluent in English with additional languages a bonus
- Able to travel up to three weeks per month, primarily in Europe
- Must have a valid passport
