EPAM is looking for multiple technically hands-on Senior Solution Architects in London to strengthen our UK Solution Architecture & Technology Consulting unit. We are working with multiple clients across a range of industries who are partnering with EPAM to help find the best ways for technology to solve their most pressing business problems.

These are great opportunities to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment with EPAMs senior technical leaders, our European Architects/Engineers and those from our client accounts supporting them navigate in a rapidly developing technology landscape.
The role requires a strong background in solution architecture, technology consulting, software development, client engagement and stakeholder management.

Our Solution Architects must have the ability to engage in opening discussions, identify technology needs, recommend the right technology choices and deliver cutting edge solutions.
We operate a flexible work environment made up of home working, office-based team collaboration and client site interaction mainly in the London area.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of Architecture solutions from establishing project requirements and goals, to solution "go-live, across different industry sectors depending on where the core client demand is coming from
• Find the right balance between innovation, technical feasibility and long term sustainability
• Partner with multi-disciplinary teams including delivery managers, product managers and development teams across different geographies
• Provide technical governance, architectural review/audit, architectural road-mapping and proactively develop and implement efficiency improvements
• Align with EPAMs leadership teams to identify new business opportunities by formulating and presenting the technology business cases to drive overall business strategy
• Create and present POCs, architecture proposals as well as provide pre-sales and RFP support within the framework of a technology consultancy

Requirements

• Proven experience acting as a hands-on Solution Architect with a strong foundation in Software Engineering
• Experience in a one or two industry sectors and ideally Financial Services/Banking or Insurance
• Experience with Microservice based architecture, designing enterprise services or integration capabilities using REST APIs and event-driven technology as well as leveraging native Cloud services
• Able to act as a SME to link technology with business value whilst guiding clients through the right technology choices suitable to their short and long term goals
• Ability to manage and lead teams of experts in technology consulting, architecture and design engagements
• Ability to demonstrate full commitment to providing exceptional customer care and service at all times
• Strong leadership skills to work comfortably with senior colleagues, up to and including C-level
• Experience and understanding of the Agile delivery
• Previous experience in a customer-facing role is essential
• Experience in pre-sales, RFP and POC activities
