As a Solution Architect you will be playing a critical role in achieving Cognizant's business objectives. You will be part of the team working closely with our business leaders and developing relationships with senior stakeholders (often C-level). You will be responsible for the client engagement success from solutioning through delivery.

You will also be focused on growing our business by providing innovative solutions and adding a real value to our clients, particularly around Cloud Transformation engagements & Migration.

The role is based in London (Stratford), and you will be expected to travel onsite 2 to 3 times a week. You will occasionally travel to Manchester.

Some of your key responsibilities will be to:

• Own the Enterprise (or Programme) business and technical reference architecture, including relevant artifacts, current landscape, implemented solutions, target architectures, and intermediate transition states covering data platforms, integrations, models, and dictionaries.
• Engage with C-level executives and senior stakeholders to translate strategy and vision into digital architecture journeys across modern technology estates, specializing in Enterprise Data, Automation, Industrialisation, and Cloud (Re) Architecture.
• Continuously research current and emerging technologies and propose changes where needed.
• Influence and architect data integration patterns to enable solution architects and developers to create REST APIs, Web Services, Message Bus, Data Pipelines, and other integration components.
• Drive solutioning for complex multiple service lines and domains as part of CRs, SoW requests, Impact Assessments, RFI, and RFP processes.

The experience you will need to demonstrate:

• Proven work experience as a Solution Architect, particularly in Cloud transformation programs- especially in the Public Sector domain.
• Experience with Talend & Denodo.
• Experience working on Data Platform, Data Migration Strategy, Analytics and AI roadmaps.
• Hands-on experience on AWS Cloud, Azure Cloud (GCP or Private Cloud an advantage too), Data Virtualisation, BI-Analytics-ML-AI / Modern Data Warehouse, Various ETL-ELT tooling including Pentaho, Cloudera, Spark, Hive, Big Data, Data Governance and Metadata tooling via tooling such as Informatica, Web Services / API / Message Services such as Rabbit MQ, Mulesoft, Tibco, etc.
• Demonstrated experience of your ability to build relationships with key stakeholders and bring everyone together on your journey, share insights and best practices and remove barriers.
