Senior Software Engineer - .NET Core / Azure - Automotive Software - Up to £80,000 - Fully Remote

A leading automotive software company is looking two Senior Software Engineers to join their growing development team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge software solutions, building and optimising cloud-based applications for the automotive sector.

• Location: Fully Remote (UK-based)

• Tech Stack: .NET Core, Azure, C#, APIs, Microservices

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying scalable applications and APIs using .NET Core and Azure. You will work in an Agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to build innovative software solutions that drive efficiency within the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain APIs and microservices using .NET Core
• Deploy and optimise cloud-based applications on Azure
• Ensure high-performance and scalability in distributed systems
• Work closely with product teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
• Troubleshoot and optimise application performance

Key Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience with .NET Core and C# development
• Hands-on experience with Azure services (Functions, App Services, Azure SQL, etc.)
• Expertise in RESTful API development and microservices architecture
• Proficiency in database design and optimisation (SQL/NoSQL)
• Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines
• Agile/Scrum development experience

Desirable:

• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience in the automotive or IoT sector
• Exposure to front-end technologies (React, Angular, or Vue.js)
