Overview

Pynea is an enterprise interview intelligence platform replacing slow, fragile enterprise software with fast, secure, scalable systems. This is a senior contract role for an engineer who can onboard fast, work with evolving requirements, and ship production-grade enterprise features with minimal direction.
Responsibilities

• Design and build secure, multi-user enterprise workflows
• Develop scalable, high-concurrency GraphQL APIs
• Implement role-based access control, audit logs, and data integrity
• Build reliable, event-driven systems (queues, retries, idempotency)
• Contribute to cloud-native architecture across AWS and GCP
• Ensure system reliability through monitoring, logging, and error handling

Required Skills & Experience

• Senior-level experience building enterprise-grade software
• Strong TypeScript, GraphQL, and PostgreSQL experience
• Proven experience with AWS and GCP
• Deep understanding of auth, APIs, concurrency, and system reliability
• Track record of delivering scalable systems to real users
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced environments with incomplete requirements
