Senior Software Engineer, Android Health

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
- 3 years of experience with Android application development.
- 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- Experience in the Java programming language.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with Android system health tooling and infrastructure.

The AICore team in London is responsible for several topics like runtime or the models, including building and releasing the AICore Android Application Package (APK) variants, feature configuration, model downloading, experiments, content safety, security, orchestration, Private Compute Core compatibility.

Responsibilities
- Set up production monitoring system including performance metrics.
- Work with Android and Pixel System Health councils to understand the impact on system health of new features.
- Work closely with clients to develop and run system health tests.
- Navigate our code base using Java as the main coding language for this role.
