Ignite Systems is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Platform to join our talented engineering team. In this role, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining our industry-leading insurance systems that deliver critical functionality to brokers and policyholders worldwide. You will work on designing scalable platform components, optimizing system performance, and ensuring high availability and security across our solutions. Responsibilities

You'll work within our cross-functional Technical Initiatives team to drive forward our DevOps maturity, capability and culture as well as working closely with colleagues from Product and QA to solve problems and provide award-winning service to our clients.

We're looking for someone who brings experience with .NET, Kubernetes, general DevOps practices, and SQL databases such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL. We have a monolith to break into modules and microservices, Kubernetes clusters to manage with GitOps tools, and infrastructure to optimise and modularise. Whilst we use do Vue and Typescript on our front end, experience in those areas is not essential for this role.

You'll also have the opportunity to share your experience with the wider team, whether that's through mentoring, pair programming, or informal support, and help raise the technical bar across the team.
