SENIOR SOFTWARE ANALYST

Head of Data & Engineering
JOB PURPOSE
The role of the Senior Software Analyst is to be part of a small, but busy, team of system analysts, delivering support and technical expertise on the multiple systems supported by the Brodies Innovation and Technology Team.
The role will involve leading implementation upgrade projects, liaising with partners and vendors, working with 2nd line support team, and helping to prioritise and manage the team's workload. As the Senior Software Analyst, you will be responsible for making sure work is delivered in a timely fashion, and to a high standard.
CORE TASKS
- Manage the administration of our core systems
- Drive the innovation with the team around processes and software
- Perform upgrades and software maintenance
- Identify areas for automation and lead in their implementation
- Provide user support
- Problem reporting and escalation
- Be aware of Brodies' information security policies, and protect information assets from unauthorised access, disclosure, modification, destruction, or interference always.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Organised and able to prioritise own workload
- Enthusiastic, responsible, flexible and accountable
- Professional attitude to work, presentation and manner
- Ability to lead others and coach and mentor other team members
- Experience of working in a law or other professional services firm (desirable, but not essential)
SKILLS
Required Skills
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft 365 Products and Platforms
- Experience in systems administration, including installation and upgrades
- Ability to analyse user challenges and define innovative solutions to these
- Excellent work management skills, including prioritising your work and that of others
Desirable Skills
- Experience administrating iManage
- Experience within the legal services industry
- Knowledge of Power Platform
- Knowledge of PowerShell
