Are you a Senior Social Worker who can find creative ways to solve problems? We have a job within our Placement & Commissioning team that might be ideal for you!
Finding the right home for a child is a significant factor in achieving stability and improving outcomes for children.
The Placement & Commissioning Team lead on all aspects of placement finding for children 0-18 needing fostering, residential and supported accommodation. We work to ensure that placements are needs led, good quality and cost effective.
Are you an experienced Social Worker or current Senior Social worker who can help the Placements and Commissioning team grow and develop?
We are looking for candidates who:
- Have the skills, knowledge, and experience to supervise staff and support the leadership of the team
- Are passionate about improving a child's journey through care, finding the right home for individual children and young people
- Have a proven track record of working collaboratively with agencies and providers for the best interests of children
- Can negotiate, challenge, and build relationships, visiting providers to quality assure children's homes
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, managing competing demands

Salary: £50,534 - £53,915 (Grade SS13)*
