Lead SOC Engineer- London - 55-65K

As a Lead SOC Engineer You Will Get the Opportunity To:
- Act as the technical lead for Jr team members.
- Proactively conduct threat hunting across client environments and carry out investigations to assist with incident response and address client issues.
- Oversee the implementation of new SOC/MDR projects
- Optimize the SIEM/EDR platforms to reduce false positives and eliminate noise.
- Address incident escalations with solid recommendations and perform threat hunting exercises.
The Right Lead SOC Engineer Will Ideally Have:
- Proven Experience as a SOC Analyst or Senior Security Operations professional.
- Proven experience in using Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft defender and Microsoft Sentinel.
- Familiarity with fundamental concepts such as operating systems and networking.
- Knowledge of system administration environments (including Linux, Windows or Mac).
- Expertise in configuring SIEM solutions, including tuning and onboarding.
Desirables for Lead SOC Engineer role:
- Practical knowledge of MITRE ATT&ACK framework.
- Microsoft Certifications including SC-200 or AZ-900
