About The Role

MWH have now been awarded Projects at Dukinfield, Aston-Under-Lyne, Arnfield, Godley, Hyde and Wigan and Skelmersdale across the AMP8 Framework Agreement with United Utilities. We are looking to strengthen our Construction and Project delivery teams with Senior Engineers assigned to a project or section within our programme of work.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will lead the Site Engineering team on a large-scale project

Fully responsible for all Site Engineering, Temporary works, lifting operations and Quality Control.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the Site Engineering team in setting out and dimensional control. Equipment management and calibration, weekly, monthly instrument checks.
• Ensure the drawing register is managed, updated, and maintained.
• Ensure as built survey records and drawings are managed and maintained.
• Manage Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
• Manage Temporary Works.
• Lead a TW's team, TWC's, TWS's etc.
• Manage lifting operations.
• Lead the lifting team, crane operators, supervisors, banksman etc.
• Manage safe systems of work, RAMS and COSHH assessments.
• Manage review and record progress of short-term lookahead programmes.
• Manage and manage bulk material take off's, place orders and call materials to site.
• Contribute to design and development, constructability, commission, operate and maintain.
• Manage and review site diaries and records.
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers.
• Contribute to risk and opportunity.

About You

Person Specification
Mandatory:

Experience leading a Site Engineering team, working on various projects.
• Strong client service focus and excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task.
• An understanding of supply chain expectations
• CDM and Health & Safety knowledge.
• SMSTS or IOSH Qualified.
• Temporary Works Coordinator (suitably Qualified)
• Lifting Operations Appointed Person, (CPCS Qualified)
• Service Coordinator, (suitably Qualified)
