Senior SHEQ Advisor

Danny Sullivan Group are searching for their next Senior SHEQ Advisor to work on a project based in Shinfield, Berkshire.
The ideal candidate for this role would be responsible for assisting the growth and management of the business' Safety, Health, Environment & Quality systems.
Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Operational Overhead line teams to deliver high-quality client projects.
• Monitor contractors' SHEQ performance to ensure compliance with health, safety, and company standards.
• Assist in developing and implementing SHEQ Management Systems across the business.
• Maintain visibility and engagement with supported business operations.
• Conduct effective SHEQ compliance audits and track corrective actions to completion.
• Support SHEQ compliance monitoring across the business and identify trends, concerns, and improvement opportunities.
• Assist with company inductions for new operatives and staff.
• Contribute to the creation and distribution of SHEQ communications.
• Participate in worker consultations, project reviews, and SHEQ engagements.
• Regularly report on activities, performance, and improvement initiatives.
• Provide support for external accreditations, client audits, and regional review meetings.
• Assist with regional accident investigations, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
• Lead or assist in significant accident and incident investigations.
• Notify management of accidents, incidents, and dangerous occurrences.
• Empowered to halt operations posing significant health, safety, or environmental risks.
• Support Regional Management to achieve high SHEQ performance standards.
• Recommend solutions for significant non-conformances or adverse findings from audits and investigations.

Experience/Qualifications:

• Power/Electrical experience.
• Knowledge and application of SHEQ management principles.
• NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent as a minimum.
• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.
• Grad Member/Working towards Chartered Member of IOSH.
• Member of IEMA.
• Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel.
