Senior SHEQ Advisor

Danny Sullivan Group are searching for their next Senior SHEQ Advisor to work on a project based in Shinfield, Berkshire.
The ideal candidate for this role would be responsible for assisting the growth and management of the business' Safety, Health, Environment & Quality systems.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Operational Overhead line teams to deliver high-quality client projects.
- Monitor contractors' SHEQ performance to ensure compliance with health, safety, and company standards.
- Assist in developing and implementing SHEQ Management Systems across the business.
- Maintain visibility and engagement with supported business operations.
- Conduct effective SHEQ compliance audits and track corrective actions to completion.
- Support SHEQ compliance monitoring across the business and identify trends, concerns, and improvement opportunities.
- Assist with company inductions for new operatives and staff.
- Contribute to the creation and distribution of SHEQ communications.
- Participate in worker consultations, project reviews, and SHEQ engagements.
- Regularly report on activities, performance, and improvement initiatives.
- Provide support for external accreditations, client audits, and regional review meetings.
- Assist with regional accident investigations, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
- Lead or assist in significant accident and incident investigations.
- Notify management of accidents, incidents, and dangerous occurrences.
- Empowered to halt operations posing significant health, safety, or environmental risks.
- Support Regional Management to achieve high SHEQ performance standards.
- Recommend solutions for significant non-conformances or adverse findings from audits and investigations.
Experience/Qualifications:
- Power/Electrical experience.
- Knowledge and application of SHEQ management principles.
- NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent as a minimum.
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.
- Grad Member/Working towards Chartered Member of IOSH.
- Member of IEMA.
- Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel.
