Our goal at CityFibre is to unlock the digital potential of Britain by creating a broadband network that works seamlessly for everyone, every day. Powerful, gigabit-speed connections that enable people across entire communities to enjoy life in full flow. To do this, we make sure that our people's voices are heard, their ideas are welcomed, and everyone is given the opportunity to make a real impact.

How you'll change it up

Joining us as a Senior Safety, Health & Environmental Business Partner, you'll be vital in leading the development and implementation of SHE plans for our critical business divisions, giving you the opportunity to affect change, drive improvements and become part of the solution. Day to day, this is some of what you can expect to be doing:

  • Influencing internal and external senior stakeholders, using assurance outputs, risk assessment and incident findings to identify and deliver improvements that reduce risk
  • Providing technical SHE advice, best practise, and support in incident investigation
  • Coaching, mentoring, and influencing leadership teams to develop their working knowledge of SHE management requirements to drive positive safety behaviours and improve the safety culture and performance
  • Working collaboratively with the wider team to ensure new and updated policies and processes are effectively implemented within your allocated division(s)

What you'll bring to the role

You'll be an experienced SHE professional, who is committed to creating a culture of positive safety behaviours and driving change. You'll also bring the following with you:

  • Higher level qualification in Occupational Health & Safety e.g., NCRQ, NEBOSH
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and associated technical standards and management systems
  • Skilled in managing risk management and assurance programmes
  • Ability to understand performance data and trends, explaining the underlying meaning to the business
  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills

We're looking for people who don't settle for 'good enough' and push things forward. If you've just found yourself thinking, 'I'd love to do this', we want to hear from you. Let's change it up.
