Salary: Starting Salary is £35,325 (Level one) rising to £37,938 (Level four) 'pro rata for part-time'

About the Role
The post holder will be working for Nottingham City Council's Enviroenergy department as a Senior Service Technician on the Nottingham district heating network and plant. Undertaking high quality electrical, mechanical, energy or infrastructure works of a specialist nature across the city. Responsible for certifying that works have been completed to accreditation standard and cost estimations for work. This will include works associated with London Road Heat Station, the District Heating Network, and associated assets.
Nottingham City Council Enviroenergy are an innovative forward-thinking team, the post holder will be heavily involved in the development and delivery of new solutions to the decentralised energy market.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
• Hold a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Mechanical or Electrical bias (Qualification is required to the role)
• Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines
• Able to read and understand technical diagrams and blueprints
• Experience of working in a customer facing environment
• Ability to perform acceptance testing on mechanical/electrical products and complete the necessary quality sign off documentation
• Hold a full current driving licence
• Energy industry experience is desirable
- This post is covered by the statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) (English Language Requirement for public sector workers) and therefore the ability to speak fluent English, is an essential requirement for the role.
- The role requires you to participate in the on-call rota.
