As our next Senior Service Desk Engineer, you'll be the face of IT in our London HQ - the person everyone trusts to keep things running smoothly, fix complex issues, and make sure our teams can deliver at speed. You'll get hands-on with everything from Macs and Windows devices to Google Workspace, SaaS tools like Jira and Slack, and high-profile All Hands events. This isn't just support - it's about owning the experience, solving problems before they escalate, and shaping how IT works across the company.

Forget long lists, here's what you'll actually spend your time on:

  • Being the go-to point of contact for IT issues and escalations, keeping communication clear and resolution rapid.
  • Diving into tricky problems (Tier 2/3) across macOS and Windows environments, with confidence in both.
  • Administering and troubleshooting Google Workspace (users, groups, security, mail flow) and enterprise SaaS like Slack, Jira, and the Atlassian suite.
  • Supporting and administering our AV and Zoom platforms for high-profile All Hands and exec meetings - making sure every event looks and sounds flawless.
  • Using MDM tools (Kandji, Jamf Pro) to manage devices seamlessly across the business.
  • Coaching junior service desk staff, setting the standard for service excellence, and spotting ways to improve our IT processes.
  • Pitching in with small IT projects - whether that's hardware rollouts or a new software launch.

It's not about ticking every box. It's about turning up curious, ready to crack on. You'll do well here if you bring:

  • Experience in IT Support or Service Desk, ideally in a fast-paced tech environment.
  • Confidence across both macOS and Windows.
  • Proven skills in Google Workspace, SaaS applications, and MDM tools.
  • A proactive, customer-first mindset and the ability to thrive when things get busy.
  • Bonus points for Okta / SSO experience or ITIL certification.
