Job overview
To provide a comprehensive, efficient and effective secretarial and administrative service to the multidisciplinary team comprising the Ward Manager, Consultant Psychiatrists, and Inpatient Nurses. You will be expected to work closely and collaboratively with other administrative colleagues to do this.
Main duties of the job
Provide highly proficient secretarial and administrative support to the service, working closely with the ward manager, ward consultant and medical team.
Support service related projects.
Assist the service with monitoring, updating and reporting comprehensive service related activity data.
Co-ordinate day to day admin support for the service and assist with the development of administrative processes.
Provide administrative cover on the inpatient team in the absence of the ward administrator.
To participate in any training and developmental needs, as required by the Business Manager.
To undertake any other duties considered relevant by the service, appropriate to the banding of this post.

Person specification
Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Secretarial qualification or demonstrable experience.
- Good standard of general education including English and Mathematics
Desirable criteria
- Experience of working with Mental health patients
- Knowledge of EPJS system
Knowledge/Skills
Essential criteria
- Intermediate skills in Excel, PowerPoint, word & Office 365.
- Minute taking
- Ability to work using your own initiative and work unsupervised
