Job Description:
As the most senior individual contributor on a scaling security team, you will lead the defense of a platform serving 200,000+ businesses. You'll own the SIEM and SOC operations, engineer advanced detection use cases, and secure cloud-native infrastructure. This high-impact role balances technical execution with mentoring junior engineers and shaping long-term strategy.

What you will do:

• Lead the management of the SIEM (Sentinel) and SOC, identifying new log sources and engineering sophisticated detection use cases to stay ahead of threats.
• Orchestrate the Security Incident Response Lifecycle, creating playbooks and leading post-mortems to continuously improve the company's defense-in-depth posture.
• Secure cloud-native technologies using the Microsoft security stack (Defender, Entra, Azure Policy) while providing technical mentorship to junior security engineers.

The ideal candidate:

• 5-8+ years of security engineering experience with a strong background in blue-team operations, incident response, and cloud security in regulated environments.
• Expert-level proficiency with the Microsoft security stack, specifically Sentinel, Defender for Endpoint/Cloud, and Entra, to manage complex detection and response workflows.
• Proven ability to operate independently under pressure, possessing the maturity to lead vulnerability management processes and communicate risks effectively to diverse stakeholders.
