Senior SAP project Manager

Key Areas of Responsibility/Accountability

This role is responsible for the delivery of projects in our inhouse SAP team. As a Senior Project Manager, will be likely to undertake more complex/higher profile projects, working across multiple workstreams or teams.

Informa has a portfolio of projects covering a number of areas in the organisation, these include:

• Mergers, Acquisitions and divestitures.

• Technology Projects, including cloud migrations

• Business Improvement & Process Optimisation projects

• Integration Projects

You will be responsible for a wide range of projects of varying sizes and be able to manage multiple projects at one time. You will also be expected to build out and enhance project management practices within the Informa ERP organisation and act as a mentor to more junior members of the team.

• Manage all aspects of Project life cycle to facilitate successful delivery to executive team

• Identify, analyse and recommend business systems solutions to management having broad business impact.

• Provide project leadership, work direction and feedback.

• Motivate work of others outside of direct authority to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met.

• Establish and maintain close working relationships within business and business project teams.

• Act as a coach to junior project managers, and help in the development of project management within the SAP team

• Further develop the Project and Portfolio management processes within the SAP team, with the aim of continually improving the operation of project management within the team

You will collaborate with functional, technical, and architecture teams, inside and outside of the SAP team. You will also be a key point of contact for business stakeholders, ensuring project delivery both meets business needs, and change impacts are managed effectively.

What you will produce

• Develop and oversee detailed project plans.

• Establish detailed project plans and metrics, work plans, schedules, resource plans and status reports.

• Identity project risks and develop risk mitigation plans.

• Convey and report status to executives, global business partners and all other key stakeholders.

• Present formal presentations and executive summaries to senior management to provide recommendations and status updates.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience running SAP projects, with experience in a variety of SAP projects across R2R, O2C, P2P and integration.

• Proven track record implementing projects within SAP, with specific knowledge relating SAP, and how to deliver SAP projects.

• Project/Programme Management qualifications and evidence of continued self-development.]]>
