Job Description
Are you ready to make a significant impact on a dynamic and growing company? We are seeking a talented (Senior) Sales Representative who is responsible for growing our market share within Industrial Wood by identifying and selling to prospective customers.
This exciting role is ideal for a sales professional from within industrial coatings, ideally with technical knowledge.
The position will be covering the Southeast and East side of England. The head office for Industrial Wood is Knottingley and there is opportunity to travel to Knottingley for sales meetings.
Responsibilities
- Travel to existing customers, handle daily business and provide technical service and consultancy to them
- Search for and create new business opportunities in accordance business needs, possibilities and capacity
- Conduct competitive product testing and comparisons to S-W and identify current competitors' strengths and weaknesses and S-W's competitive advantage
- Develop a strategy to sell target customers and identify items or product categories that require specific attention in support of this strategy
- Identify products and quantities that must be carried in inventory to support customer needs and communicate this to servicing facility
- Ensure customer quality and service expectations are consistently met; eliminate or reduce customer complaints
- Achieve or exceed sales and profit budget
- Increase liter growth
- Grow opportunity account sales
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in technical industrial coatings
- Proven sales experience and account management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to interface effectively with sales, technical and manufacturing management
- Experience with Sales Force
Travel Requirements (time spent away from home or other typical office location): 75%
