The Role
With the incredible launch of our ad-supported model, we are now working toward providing more choices for consumers and a premium brand experience for advertisers. We are seeking a Senior Sales Partner to help shape Netflix's MENA and Turkey sales strategy.
As the Senior Sales Partner for MENA and Turkey, you will be responsible for helping lead the development and execution of Client and Agency sales strategy for the region. You will work closely with the senior-level Investment and Account Planning stakeholders at the Agency operating within an Agency Holding group and with the direct-tier one Advertising client base in the region. As the Regional Sales lead, you will be tasked with jointly driving Netflix Advertising opportunities with key Agency partners and Client leaders.
The role will involve developing business with senior stakeholders at a given major Agency group and building key client relationships with C-level, VP, and Director contacts within those portfolios.
You will be accountable for delivering revenue targets by leveraging Netflix's unique audience insights and premium content offerings. You will work closely with our Measurement Leads to develop the best-in-class measurement solutions to meet our Clients' needs. The role will also be a focal point for driving the necessary internal developments to ensure our success. Cross-functional collaboration with Ad Product, Marketing, Content and Partnership Development teams will be crucial.
The focal point will be global-level advertisers based in the MENA region and Turkey, who will invest in outbound advertising across all regions, including EMEA, the Americas, and APAC.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the advertising ecosystem in the MENA region and Turkey, a deeply established network of Client and Agency relationships, and a track record of delivering revenue growth.
This role will be UK-based but will require a degree of travel to the region for Client stakeholder meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute Client & Agency focused sales for the MENAT region to deliver revenue targets and exceed client expectations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with a major Agency Holding group and related Agencies to secure ad partnerships and drive revenue growth.
- Develop long term relationships with key senior Clients within those portfolios.
- Will need to foster relationships with key relevant Reseller partners in the region
- Develop sales strategies and sales plans for the assigned Account portfolio
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of advertising campaigns.
- Leverage Netflix's unique audience insights and premium content offerings to drive revenue growth.
- Monitor market trends, and competitor activity and identify opportunities for innovation.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 10 years of experience in advertising (incl. sales) with a proven track record of delivering revenue growth.
- Established network and extensive experience working with Agencies and Clients in the MENA region & Turkey
- Deep regional market knowledge ( understanding of the Media Agencies/Holding Companies in the region)
- Availability to travel to the region on a regular basis
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Additionally:
- Experience in both TV and digital advertising sales will be a plus
- A degree of people management experience is preferable
- Strong analytical (strategic and creative) capabilities and judgment.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively cross-functionally.
