What you'll do
The Senior Sales Manager either leads a team of sales managers who have respective teams (i.e. managing managers), or they manage a team with a total annual revenue or revenue potential above £50m. In the latter case, they usually lead a team of 5+ Account Managers (F and G bands).
In their role, the Senior Sales Manager ensures revenue, margin and AoV targets are met through selling Whitespace opportunities into account decision makers of all allocated accounts on worldwide scale.
Further measures of success are to ensure account satisfaction (rNPS) is met and increased, account strategies and plans are in place and executed against for both direct and channel partner sales, transformational opportunities are developed on a direct selling basis (b2b) and on an indirect selling basis (b2b2c and/or b2b2b).
Who you are
• 5 yrs+ experience in sales management (either direct or managing a virtual team at scale) and proven track record with strategic accounts
• Ability to think strategically and drive transformational sales programmes
• Intercultural awareness and experience
• Able to deal with a rapidly changing environment and able to lead change where necessary
• Capable of working for projects in a matrix-organisation
• Managing C-Level within customer and Vodafone (for major accounts with revenues or revenue potential above £30m p.a.)
