Role Overview: Dynamo is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Engineer to serve as a strategic partner to our Sales and Product teams, guiding prospects through complex evaluations of the Dynamo platform. This individual will play a critical role in demonstrating technical and industry expertise to clients, shaping proof of concepts (PoCs), and aligning solutions with the unique business needs of Alternative Investment firms. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of client-facing success, deep financial domain knowledge, and an ability to influence both client outcomes and internal product direction. This role offers the opportunity to take a leadership position in high-impact sales opportunities and mentor junior members of the Sales Engineering team.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Lead technical discovery and solution design sessions with prospective clients, deeply understanding their operational models and investment workflows
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations and custom PoCs that address client-specific use cases across all verticals of the Dynamo platform
  • Manage complex RFP/RFI responses with a focus on accuracy, completeness, and alignment with client priorities
  • Serve as a technical and functional expert throughout the sales cycle, collaborating with Sales, Product, and Implementation teams to deliver tailored solutions
  • Provide strategic consultation to prospective clients on best practices in financial technology adoption, data management, and reporting workflows
  • Continuously improve internal demo environments and technical enablement resources based on market feedback
  • Mentor junior Sales Engineers and contribute to internal enablement initiatives
  • Stay up to date on trends and developments in the Alternative Investments industry and translate that knowledge into meaningful client engagement
  • Represent the Sales Engineering function in strategic sales planning meetings and contribute to ongoing process improvements

What We Are Looking For:

  • 8+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Business Analysis, or Presales Consulting, ideally in the financial software or Alternative Investment space
  • Robust understanding of private capital markets and Alternative Investment strategies, including portfolio and partnership accounting, data workflows, and reporting requirements
  • Accounting experience/knowledge is a plus
  • Proven ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and executive audiences
  • Advanced presentation, facilitation, and storytelling skills
  • Strong experience building and delivering customized PoCs, with a clear understanding of solution scoping and client workflows
  • Demonstrated success working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
  • Self-starter with strong time management, prioritization, and client engagement skills
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required
