Hamleys are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Senior Sales Assistant (or Hamleys Expert) to assist the management team by motivating colleagues through clear communication and effective delegation.

As a Hamleys Expert your key responsibilities include:

• Presenting a professional image and positive attitude to internal and external customers
• Gaining product knowledge expertise within all product groups in the store and sharing this with the team
• Effectively deputing for the Management team in their absence, including opening or closing floor/store where required
• Being a role model and supporting the team in delivering award winning service
• Supporting the Hamleys trading and promotional programme by setting appropriate targets for yourself and the team
• Effectively communicating with all the team on promotional and operational information

About You

The ideal candidate for this role will be flexible to work across varied hours and days of the week and should have proven experience in similar role, or as an established sales assistant who is ready for the next step in their retail career.

In addition, you will have the following skills and experience:

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• In depth product knowledge
• Be a Team player
