As a Senior Safeguarding and Support Officer, you'll play a pivotal role in creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for our diverse community of learners. Covering a maternity leave period, this role is your opportunity to lead on safeguarding initiatives, provide expert guidance, and work collaboratively with staff to ensure the wellbeing of our students.
Your duties will include:
- Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), ensuring all safeguarding policies and practices meet the highest standards.
- Manage and respond effectively to safeguarding concerns, collaborating with external agencies as necessary.
- Foster strong relationships with students, ensuring they feel valued, heard, and supported throughout their journey at the college.
