Senior Rotational Clinical Pharmacist

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Key activities of the post holder in each rotation will be to:
- Act as a specialist practitioner and role model and manage the day to day pharmaceutical care of patients in the speciality
- Attend daily consultant ward rounds in specific rotations
- Respond to clinical queries both internally and externally
- Produce monthly financial and activity reports including monitoring of cost savings initiatives
- Conduct research and audit projects
- Participate in activities such as risk management, clinical guideline development and staff training
Person specification
Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Registered Pharmacist (1 year competency assessed and examined professional registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council)
Desirable criteria
- Postgraduate Diploma in Pharmacy Practice or equivalent qualification / experience
Experience
Essential criteria
- Specialist clinical knowledge and skills relevant to area of practice

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
