Are you passionate about risk management and ready to make a significant impact? We are looking for a Senior Risk Business Partner to play a pivotal role in enhancing and maintaining our firm's Risk Management Framework. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate closely with senior leadership and business owners, providing critical advice, support, and insights on significant risks.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a second-line defence, supporting first-line management in adopting and integrating our risk management framework.
  • Oversee and report on business unit compliance with risk appetite, addressing and resolving potential concerns.
  • Foster a culture of risk management through consistent engagement across the organisation.
  • Conduct focused risk assessments and enhance the Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) process.
  • Identify, manage, report, and escalate emerging or present risks, issues, and incidents.
  • Evaluate new business initiatives to ensure key risks are managed.
  • Facilitate risk training and awareness initiatives.
  • Attend and contribute to the Enterprise Risk Committee and other management meetings.
  • Manage and refine the Risk Reporting and Analysis tool, contributing to governance forums.
  • Address inquiries from stakeholders, including regulators, auditors, and senior management.
  • Monitor adherence to Group policies related to Operational Risk, Market Exposure, Data Protection, and Outsourcing.
  • Lead the development of the ICARA and Liquidity Management Framework, including scenario and stress testing workshops.
  • Collaborate on Daily Counterparty Exposure Reporting, Mark-to-Market Calculations, and Market Exposure management.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Significant experience in Risk Management within financial or professional services.
  • Experience engaging with Executive and Board-level audiences.
  • Proven track record of collaborating on a broad spectrum of risk and control issues.
  • Experience executing the ICARA process.
  • Familiarity with the regulatory landscape.

  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Exceptional time management, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
  • Keen eye for detail and analytical acumen.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Profound knowledge of risk management principles and tools.
  • Advanced technological proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite.
