Sysco is excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a Senior Reward Manager to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. Reporting to the Senior Director of Executive Compensation, Mobility & International Total Rewards, you will play a key role within our Total Rewards Centre of Excellence (COE).

In this role, you will partner with our EMEA businesses to provide expert guidance on compensation and benefits, while also supporting the wider Total Rewards COE with the delivery of core annual reward processes. This includes annual incentives, salary review cycles, and the administration of long-term incentive plans, including grant and vesting activities.

The position also involves occasional travel to international markets and the US, so you should be comfortable with periodic travel and overnight stays.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

  • Support Executive and broad-based compensation benchmarking across EMEA, ensuring alignment with Sysco's total reward principles, and support the markets to source the relevant market intelligence and salary surveys to support their specific business needs
  • In coordination with other members of the Total Rewards COE, ensure the effective implementation of the Sysco job architecture and job grading system in organizational design, offer letters, and Workday process management
  • In collaboration with other departments, provide input into the principles on design of local incentive programs, ensuring a robust governance process is in place for target setting and performance tracking, and develop an appropriate communication plan to keep participants engaged
  • Partner with other members of the Total Rewards COE, the market HR teams, and local Sales and Operations leadership to assist with colleague incentive plan design, ensuring alignment to Sysco's design principles and that they drive performance improvement and reward individuals appropriately
  • Operate as a field-based COE, advising and up-skilling the market HR teams in all aspects of reward; job evaluation, pay, incentives and benefits to support the specific needs of their markets
  • Collaborate with benefits brokers, insurance providers, and vendors to negotiate, manage, and optimize benefits plans while ensuring plans are competitive and compliant in the local market
  • Develop communication strategies to enhance employee understanding and engagement with benefits programs
  • Monitor the effectiveness of benefits programs, using analytics to make recommendations for improvements or new offerings that enhance the employee experience
  • Manage the development and delivery of compensation, benefits, and mobility-related data and reports to senior leadership, ensuring informed decision-making on total rewards
  • Analyse data to identify trends, recommend adjustments to reward programs, and provide insights into market competitiveness.
  • Design and conduct benchmarking studies to ensure the company's compensation and benefits remain competitive within the industry and geographies.
  • Work with the other members of the HR function on projects that support the HR Strategy and other key business initiatives.
  • Establish the appropriate external network and market insights to keep up to date with key developments in reward & benefits, practices and regulations

About you:

To succeed in this role, you will bring solid experience in international reward, ideally covering markets such as Great Britain, France, Ireland, and Sweden. Experience within a US-based matrix organisation is highly desirable.

You will have a proven track record in implementing job architectures and job grading frameworks, supported by strong hands-on experience with a global HRIS platform, which is essential for success in this role. Experience with Workday-particularly core HR, compensation modules, and basic reporting-would be highly advantageous but is not essential.

You'll also be comfortable managing manual administrative tasks, coordinating process steps, and overseeing Workday inbox actions and service support tickets.

Strong project management and stakeholder management skills are essential, enabling you to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organisation, including senior leaders, HR Business Partners, and external vendors. You will also bring expertise in data analytics, with the ability to interpret compensation and benefits data and translate it into actionable insights for leadership.

Ideally, you will also have a solid understanding of global labour laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements relevant to compensation and benefits.
