Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Retoucher to oversee and enhance all web-based imagery in line with our company guidelines. This role involves managing the workflow, ensuring high-quality standards, and guiding the retouch team to achieve both personal and business objectives.

What you will do:

  • Image Management: Manage and retouch all web-based imagery, ensuring alignment with company guidelines. Perform thorough quality checks and take responsibility for feedback.
  • Workflow Coordination: Oversee the workflow within the team, ensuring timely delivery of assets to the highest standards.
  • Team Leadership: Guide the retouch team to meet personal objectives and overall business goals, providing support and feedback as needed.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure consistency and attention to detail in all images through rigorous quality assurance processes.
  • Process Improvement: Maintain and improve workflow efficiency within the retouching team, implementing new ways of working.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with the Studio Manager and production team weekly to schedule and delegate work. Work closely with the studio manager, production team, and art directors to enhance quality and efficiency.
  • KPI Monitoring: Monitor team KPIs and drive improvements in production efficiency.
  • Team Support: Conduct regular meetings and catch-ups with the retouching team to provide support and guidance.
  • Creative Oversight: Oversee creative retouching for marketing images, newsletters, and other creative assets as needed.
  • File Management: Maintain file structure and archive images appropriately.
  • Continuous Improvement: Suggest and implement ways to improve image quality. Take initiative and proactively support the retouching and other studio teams.
  • Ad Hoc Duties: Complete any other duties within the studio as required.

What you need to succeed:

  • Team Management Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, with a track record of successfully managing a team.
  • Photoshop Expertise: Extensive experience using Photoshop CC and Actions.
  • Color Correction Skills: Expert in color correction to ensure consistency across all product images.
  • Attention to Detail: Possess a critical eye for correcting and enhancing imagery.
  • Digital Image Processing: Knowledgeable in processing digital images, with a strong understanding of Capture One Pro.
  • Deadline-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines and produce a high volume of retouched images.
  • Brand Understanding: Genuine interest in and understanding of the COS brand and business, both visually and commercially.

This is a Full time -Temporary ML 1 year Contractbased at our Head Office in London
