Join Newcross Healthcare as a Senior Residential Support Worker in the Shrewsbury area and be part of a supportive team that provides life-changing care and support to young people.
What we offer:
- £13.00 to £15.60 per hour
- A range of ad-hoc shifts and full-time, temp to perm positions, up to 40 hours per week
- Shift pattern: 24-hour sleeper shift, with additional £30 payment for the sleeper element
- Work in a highly rewarding environment with young people, helping them re-enter education and develop important life skills
Your day-to-day responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to team meetings for staff development and communication
- Provide care and support to young people, helping them engage in education and social activities
- Assist with day-to-day tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and organising social activities
What we're looking for:
- Full UK driving licence
- Due to a genuine occupational requirement, applicants must be Caucasian males, aged over 30. If that does not fit your profile, please review our other vacancies
- A minimum 12 months of experience in a Residential setting working with children and young people
- A desire to work towards a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent
