About The Role
What you will do
- You will support the Strategy & Corporate Development Director in the efficient management of Capital, through capital forecasting and monitoring and the management and production of the ICAAP and Recovery Plan.
- You will provide leadership and oversight of pricing policies, models and strategies for the Bank.
Key Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate & project managing the ICAAP and Recovery Plan delivery with other stakeholders like Risk, Treasury, etc. through to Board approval.
- Scenario Forecasting: Support in development of a suite of forecast scenarios, producing insight and analysis presented to the Assets and Liabilities Committee.
- Create, maintain, update, and refresh regulatory capital forecasts periodically and in response to business & regulatory changes.
- Support capital optimisation initiatives from a regulatory capital analysis perspective.
- Pricing Models: Design and maintain pricing models that accurately reflect cost structures and provide the optimal value proposition for our clients.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the effectiveness of pricing strategies. Regularly report on pricing performance and recommend improvements.
What you will bring
Experience in producing ICAAPs.
Regulatory capital or risk experience.
Practical working knowledge of banking & financial service organisations and understanding of financial products.
Ability to organise, manage and prioritise work in order to deliver to tight deadlines.
- Commercial acumen and experience of pricing models and strategies.
Qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) preferable.
