Petrofac is seeking a Senior Reservoir Engineer -PAYE contract position for 6 months based in Aberdeen, UK.
JOB TITLE: Senior Reservoir Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for performing all duties with due regard to the health, safety of self, others and of the environment in which they are undertaken.
• Work with local well surveillance engineers to provide an operations interface between offshore Jade & Serpentina installations and Petrofac onshore production operations team in order to provide effective well integrity, well optimization, data management and data transfer to Petrofac Well Engineering team, Aberdeen.
• Develop and maintain an integrated production model for the existing field development and future development scenarios using GAP and incorporating associated PETEX IPM suite models (or equivalent).
• Support and coordinate well services provided from Company's in-country base in Malabo, EG.
• Support and assist in the transition from legacy Operator's Well Management System to Company's Well Management System, including contribution to Company's Well Integrity Assurance processes for all Block B wells.
• Liaise with Out of Country Integrity Engineers, Production and Subsurface teams and service companies to ensure that the production data is fully quality checked, and any basic analysis performed prior to issue.
• Provide adhoc offshore supervision support during well test and well intervention campaigns on Block B assets as required.
• Interface with existing subsea department coordinating and reporting Tree Valve Integrity Testing & management.
• Where appropriate, mobilise to Jade or Serpentina assets to support service company technicians during well intervention or wellhead maintenance campaigns.
• Work with and provide mentor support to National Oil Company personnel as part of Technical Services Contract development requirements.
• Assist asset production team with production forecasting and package uplift planning and scheduling workflow.
Deliverables:
• Provide support between in country operations team and Aberdeen based Well Engineering team on all matters relating to well integrity, production well testing and optimisation, and well services operations.
• Work within the onshore based operations department in Malabo office and be responsible for field-based well production management and well integrity engineering and any well intervention related activities including subsea systems maintenance.
• Responsible for field-based well production management, well integrity engineering and well interventions related activities.
• Support the activities of the offshore operations team, in the planning, execution transfer and initial review of all well integrity related data acquired from all platform and subsea wellstock.
• Manage local contracts for the provision of any specialist services, interface with Company specialist resources in Aberdeen, and work closely with the other members of the onshore based operations team to ensure that the maximum economic value of the Block B development is realized.
• Manage the contracts for the provision of specialist services offshore in the areas of data gathering, well maintenance and intervention.
• Liaise with all subsurface disciplines, including subsea and drilling as project requires.
• Participate in the inputting of all required Block B data and well information into TURUS® Well Engineering & Integrity Project Management System.
• Participate in client project meetings and regular reporting requirements. Providing operational support as required.
