Charnwood Discovery is looking for a Senior Research Scientist to join our dynamic ADME/DMPK team. Established in 2022, our DMPK department is rapidly growing, and we are seeking lab-based scientists with experience in DMPK to join us. If you have the relevant expertise, we want to hear from you!

What you'll be doing:

• Efficiently plan, conduct, interpret and report DMPK studies to support both integrated and stand-alone client projects.
• Maintain precise scientific records and adhere to the company's Health and Safety policies.
• Contribute to the smooth running of the laboratory by taking ownership of a process such as biological stock management or compound submission.
• Participate in assay development/validation activities as required.

What you'll need:

Essential:

• BSc, MSc or PhD in Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacology, or a related field with over 2 years of practical DMPK experience.
• Proficiency in independently running in vitro DMPK assays, data processing and reporting.
• Experience of quantitative sample analysis using LC-MS.

Desirable:

• Familiarity with assay validation in a DMPK setting.
• Understanding of DMPK as part of the wider drug discovery process/involvement with integrated drug discovery projects.
