Senior Research Associate - Executive Search

We have an exciting opportunity open for a Senior Research Associate to join our rapidly growing team.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support in the end-to-end delivery of CFO executive search mandates.
  • Use a variety of qualitative and quantitative research and analytical skills to identify target candidates and produce company and candidate market maps.
  • Lead candidate screening calls and interviews, qualifying against a rigorous set of criteria while providing the best candidate experience throughout the project.
  • Attending client calls throughout the search process to ensure any adaptations to the search strategy is implemented and presented.
  • Articulating candidates on client calls.
  • Produce high-level candidate briefs, job descriptions, candidate scorecards and other supporting documentation.
  • Be able to significantly contribute to the development and articulation of the search strategy.
  • Own KPIs to ensure searches have a healthy pipeline of candidates anticipating and updating lead consultants with any amber flags well ahead of time.
  • Have a positive partnership and build trust and rapport with clients, candidates and within the team with open communication.
  • Work with the Project Coordinators to ensure they are updated and candidates are being interviewed in a timely manner.
  • Is actively collaborative across teams.
  • Run and own best practices in search on all projects

Requirements

Experience & Competencies

  • Proven experience of advanced research capabilities within executive search while promoting best practices in sourcing candidates.
  • Confident in screening and interviewing candidates at a top level.
  • Strong project management and organisational skillset.
  • Ability to take a qualitative, as well as quantitative approach to research.
  • Ambitious and driven to succeed and grow within the business.
  • Highly communicative and proactive.
  • Self-starter.
  • Strong attention to detail within a wider 'bigger picture' view.
  • Ability to be client-facing and present candidates, research methodologies, market insights and search landscape.
  • Strong intellectual curiosity, eager to learn and ask questions.
