The Business Operations Senior Reporting Analyst plays a crucial role in managing operational delivery of management information, analysis, and recommendations to enable decision-making at all levels of the organization.

Location: Basingstoke/Reading. This role offers hybrid working.

Salary: Starting from £44,110 (depending on skills and experience)

Key Accountabilities:

  • The Business Operations Senior Reporting Analyst is accountable for provision of automated reporting solutions, complex analysis and provision of recommendations and insight to drive effective management and decision making in support of our Quality Function.
  • Develops automated reporting platforms to deliver the monthly functional reporting rhythm including delivery of reports and presentation packs for use by the Executive, Board and other External and Internal customers.
  • Management of the design, continuous improvement and change control of the reporting templates.
  • Highlight key discussion and decision points that should be escalated based on data insight.
  • Producing the local Reporting Business Rhythm to manage delivery.
  • Custodian of the local data model developed in conjunction with IS to ensure that there is one source of truth for all reporting and analytics.
  • Design, manage configure and automate local and Enterprise KPIS.
  • Analyses performance data to provide an integrated view of the key risks and issues within the function that are pertinent across the AWE Enterprise and recommend effective actions to mitigate risks and exploit opportunities.
  • Develop processes, procedures, standards and tools to ensure that reporting is consistent.
  • Manages all new requirements through the standard data lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the local area Reporting Standard, setting the policies and protocols for reporting, held in the company management system.
  • Automate and manage the production of locally owned KPIs ensuring that they are approved through local governance.
  • Author and issue narrative to communicate key Performance messages to Senior Stakeholders.
  • Manage the storage and maintenance of reporting documentation and records in line with the AWE document management policy and provide evidence in the event of an audit.
  • Manage the transfer of information from to all stakeholders ensuring that requirements are met to time and quality and AWE stakeholders are engaged.
  • Undertakes appropriate activities to ensure accurate reporting in line with the agreed Business Rhythm.
  • The Business Operations team may require you to fulfil any other reasonable duties aligned to your position from time to time in line with business needs.
