History

LIV Golf launched in 2022 as an eight-event 'Invitational Series.' 2023 saw the inaugural LIV Golf League host 14 events around the world, from Adelaide to Chicago, Andalucía to Singapore, as well as launch the game's first Team franchises, captained by some of golf's most decorated superstars.

The format, respecting the history and traditions of the game, has been optimized for modern day sports fans; 3-days, 54 holes, no cut, shotgun start, offering a faster pace-of play to drive engaging storylines and offer an immersive fan experience.

The events, each wholly owned and operated by LIV Golf and broadcast around the world to over 300million homes, deliver a family-friendly environment, festival-style atmosphere, evening concert entertainment and world-class competition; a combination that is unique to the world of golf.

In 2024, LIV Golf will further expand the reach of the League, splitting the schedule between some of the most iconic venues across Asia, Europe and the Middle East with decorated venues in the US. The full player pathway, created in partnership with the Asian Tour, also launches, with the game's first ever player Promotion and Relegation, and Player Transfer Window, as the holistic integration of LIV Golf is fully delivered.

Role Objective

LIV Golf is entering an exciting phase to expand the technology team in line with the success of the league. We require an experienced IT Manager to be based out of our UK office, partnering with the business on tech support and a focus on IAM.

Responsibilities

• IAM Strategy and Implementation: Develop and execute a comprehensive IAM strategy aligned with the organization's business objectives. Oversee the implementation of IAM systems, policies, and procedures to ensure secure and efficient access management.
• IT Infrastructure Management: Manage the overall IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and data centres. Ensure the reliability, security, and performance of IT systems.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, training, and support. Foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
• Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate IT risks related to security, compliance, and business continuity. Implement effective risk management strategies and controls.
• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, ensuring that they deliver quality services and meet contractual obligations.
• Project Management: Oversee IT projects, from planning and execution to delivery and post-implementation support.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.

Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT management, with a strong focus on IAM.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing and managing IAM solutions.
• Deep understanding of IAM concepts, standards, and best practices.
• Experience with IAM technologies such as identity provisioning, access control, single sign-on, and multi-factor authentication.
• Strong project management skills and ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Experience with IT compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, HIPAA, or GDPR.
• Certifications in IAM or IT security (e.g., CISM, CISSP, CIAM).
• Experience with cloud-based IAM solutions.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
