The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reliability Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, quality, or science disciplines, with a proven track record in reliability engineering and product development. The Senior Reliability Engineer will promote best practice on Reliability Engineering by supporting the business with training, facilitation and analyses in all aspects of Reliability Engineering.
You will become a subject matter expert in the Design for Reliability tools and their use. You will work with individuals and teams that are located and distributed globally, mostly supporting New Product Introduction teams but with other functions as necessary. There will be some opportunities for travel to engage face to face with the teams where there is a clear benefit in doing this, to be assessed on a project-by-project basis.

Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate design for Reliability processes with teams to enable their effective use and to develop the capabilities of those teams.
• Independently perform complex reliability analyses (including data manipulation) and deploy established reliability engineering tools, such as Reliability Block Diagrams, Life Data Analysis and Design of Experiments.
• Review the work of other engineers and teams, to ensure the quality of their output.
• Specify, use and deliver training of the appropriate reliability engineering tools and methods such as FMEA from existing Design for Reliability portfolio to support specific projects within the business.
• Develop appropriate report content and format for frequently requested data and automate its delivery to stakeholders.
• Make recommendations to identifying the data should be collected to maximise the benefits from reliability analyses and activities.
• Identify gaps in the Design for Reliability portfolio, then develop new processes and solutions to close those gaps.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or Science discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in an engineering role, with at least 3 years as a reliability practitioner and 5 years developing new products or implementing product improvements.
• Strong knowledge of reliability engineering tools such as Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, Life Data Analysis, Reliability Block Diagrams, and Design of Experiments.
• Experience with ReliaSoft, databases, SQL, PowerBI, Minitab, and Python is desirable.
• Proven ability to work effectively with distributed global teams.
• Specific product knowledge is not required but may be beneficial.
