Person specification

Education/Qualification

Essential criteria

  • NVQ Level 3 in an area relevant to the post

Desirable criteria

  • GCSE grade A-C or equivalent in English and Maths
  • ECDL certificate
  • Trusted Assessor trained
  • PSI qualification

Experience

Essential criteria

  • Minimum of two years' experience as a Rehabilitation Assistant working in health or similar post
  • Experience of working as part of a community team
  • Experience with the use of Microsoft Office and a variety of databases

Desirable criteria

  • Experience of working as part of a falls team
  • Experience with SystmOne

Skills and knowledge

Essential criteria

  • Basic competency training in: Mobility assessment, individual exercise programme, falls prevention
  • Experience in assessment of Personal and Domestic Activities of Daily Living and carrying out these tasks with clients to improve ability
