Person specification
Education/Qaulification
Essential criteria
- NVQ in Health Studies Level 3 or equivalent knowledge acquired through training, short courses or experience in health or wellbeing.
- General school qualifications i.e. GCE/GCSE Maths and English
Desirable criteria
- Short courses in neurology and/or rehabilitation.
Experience
Essential criteria
- Recent experience of working in a relevant health or social care environment.
- Experience in rehabilitation
- Knowledge of rehabilitation within neuro rehab
- Experience working with people with physical, cognitive, behavioural and communication disabilities
Skills & Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Good standard of written and spoken English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Computer literacy
Desirable criteria
- Understanding of the principles of rehab
- Basic understanding of anatomy and physiology
- Commitment to further learning & development
