We have an exciting opportunity for a senior project manager to joinHerefordshire's Commercial Delivery Team. Forming part of the Economy and Environment depart, the InfrastructureDelivery Team is a multi-skilled engineering, design and project managementteam focused on the delivery of property infrastructure works.

As the S106 Delivery Manager you will be responsible for working withlocal parish and town council's as well as community partners to develop and planS106 improvement works such as play areas, sports facilities and schoolimprovement works. You will also beresponsible for project managing these works from commissioning and overseeingthe detailed design through to procuring the contractor and supervisingdelivery on site. It's a challenging butfulfilling role in that you will not only be managing the stakeholderinvolvement and expectations but also the design consultants and contractors deliveringthe works on the ground.

Additionally, you will have overall responsibility for programmemanagement of all S106 capital projects. This will require coordinating with the S106 Highways Engineer and othercouncil colleagues involved in S106 delivery, forecasting, creating monthlyreports and managing spend on overall delivery of S106 across the council.

The successful applicant will educated to degree level with significant experience in the developmentand delivery of infrastructure works. You must have demonstratable achievements in public sector development,design, procurement and delivery of projects. Experience with JCT and NEC contracts is also desirable.
