This student recruitment role is responsible for supporting a Recruitment Manager for UK, Europe, CIS and The Americas regions to achieve Henley Business School's Postgraduate taught programme recruitment targets. You will assist in the development and delivery of the Business School's student recruitment activity with a view to generating leads and applications and converting those leads to student enrolments. The purpose is to ensure intake recruitment targets are met by identifying, nurturing and recruiting suitable candidates. You will be responsible for undertaking recruitment activities, coordinating events, developing and implementing communications and overseeing the pipeline of students for a portfolio of programmes as agreed with your line manager. It is expected that this role will focus on recruitment for the business school's postgraduate programmes.

You will have:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate regularly and effectively with a range of stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent telephone manner and ability to build rapport with clients and prospects on the phone.
  • Effective influencing, negotiation and sales skills
  • Ability to set up and maintain effective systems and procedures
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy and methodical working
  • Exceptional organisational and planning skills and the ability to prioritise and complete multiple tasks to agreed timescales
  • Ability to use own initiative and take proactive actions to resolve problems
  • Understanding of using CRM systems effectively
  • Strong sales or recruitment experience from within a service environment or sector
