£28,000 to £31,000pa DOE + commission

Connect2socialwork, part of the Commercial Services Group, are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Senior Recruitment Consultant. You will have access to a warm desk but as we expand into exciting new sectors, we need a driven, career focused individual who's ready to take the lead and make a real impact.

The successful candidate will need require strong communication and relationship building skills to establish a strong pipeline of qualified leads, meetings and business opportunities in order to meet KPI's.

Our Connect2Socialwork team is dedicated to helping the public sector find and hire social workers. Our social work delivery team works closely with the Commercial Services Interim and Executive Search Practice to provide recruitment services to more than 160 local authorities and global charities. All roles across all services including mental health, children, and adults are supported.

Key duties -

  • Be the Boss of Your Desk: Manage your desk like it's your own business. Drive consistent profit, spot new opportunities, and lead activities that'll grow your portfolio.
  • Build & Nurture Relationships: Get to know your sector inside and out. Understand what your clients need before they even ask and deliver solutions that exceed their expectations.
  • Be the Go-To: Use your recruitment expertise to engage top-tier candidates - you'll be their go-to consultant and a name that people can trust.
  • Own Your Success: From fee negotiations to financial objectives, you'll be accountable for your desk's performance. And you'll report on that performance with pride.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with your team and the Head of Business Development to identify leads, build candidate hot lists, and bring new clients on board. We'll drive revenue and profit together!

What we need from you -

  • Proven Experience: You've got solid experience in a 360-degree recruitment role, and you're not afraid to show it.
  • Tech-Savvy: You know your way around a Recruitment CRM system, from advert management to reporting.
  • A way with words: You will have a knack of pulling together a strong narrative, whether that's promoting your top candidates to the hiring community or framing the latest opportunities to your ever-growing talent bank.
  • Solid Communicator: You adapt your communication style effortlessly to influence at all levels.
  • Sales Superstar: You're well-versed in sales techniques, from objection handling to lead generation, and you're always calm under pressure.
