Senior Recruitment Advisor - Talent Acquisition & Attraction - SaT
The Opportunity:
As a Senior Recruitment Advisor, you will be a connected, key business partner to your stakeholders, providing insight, credibility and best practice to define and deliver the end-to-end recruitment processes across your portfolio. Working as a valued member of the UK&I Experience Hired recruitment team, you'll have the opportunity to lead projects, manage niche recruitment, and deliver innovative process improvements.
Your Key Responsibilities:
You'll work closely with your internal stakeholders to formulate and deliver an effective recruitment strategy across a matrix competency structure. Partners, Directors and Senior Managers will look to you for your business acumen, market knowledge and the ability to deliver exceptional talent. You will act as a role model, leading others and overseeing team priorities in relation to hiring activity, DE&I, reporting & compliance.
Skills and Attributes for Success:
- Leads on recruitment plans, with a deep understanding of recruitment methods and concepts
- Drives direct sourcing with the aim of reducing the reliance of agency usage to ensure that the recruitment targets are met
- Delivers solutions via a thorough understanding of trends and market knowledge of sector using knowledge to inform actions and sourcing plans across the team
- Experience & understanding of assessment methods e.g. competency-based interviewing, psychometric testing, technical testing, and assessment centres
- Confidence in advocating for DE&I and holding stakeholders to account to ensure our inclusive hiring practices are upheld. In addition, be able to advise stakeholders on diversity sourcing and attraction to support diverse pipelines.
- Understanding of the internal / external market and trends, ensuring that this knowledge is shared with the business and team as appropriate
- Agile and responsive to business needs, demonstrating speed of response through own actions and proactively proposing ideas and solutions
- Excellent stakeholder management skills. Solution focused and able to adapt style to different stakeholder groups
- Establishes strong relationships with different stakeholder groups such as the Talent, Resourcing, Operations, HR and the business to remain abreast of key issues and recruitment plans
- Clear commitment to quality and compliance, driving team performance through measures and targets that are set for recruitment
- Motivates and manages others through actions, training and on the job coaching
- Counsels and supports wider team members with career development and progression
To qualify for the role, you must have:
- Proven track record of executing volume recruitment while managing more specialist briefs through appropriate selection methods
- The credibility to help influence and implement a recruitment strategy, identifying the business impact of recruitment on measures including cost per hire, DE&I mix and source mix
- Solid experience of coordinating direct recruitment from a variety of sources for example, headhunting, job boards, recruitment portals & referral campaigns
- Experience of full account management of key recruitment areas
- Regular experience of using data and insights and the production of management information
- Prioritisation and project management skills - able to plan and manage time effectively and flexing to deal with key priorities
Ideally, you'll also have:
- Well-developed networks and experience of market insights
- Relationship building skills - with the ability to challenge senior management where necessary, always acting with integrity and enthusiasm
- A strategic outlook, resilience and leadership skills
