Job Description
As a Senior Recruiter, you'll play a critical role in the success of the Talent Acquisition function, partnering closely with the business, focusing on talent requirements both current & future, in a fast paced, high growth & creative environment. You'll play a key role in sourcing, attracting and hiring the best talent in the market for ASOS, championing our employer brand and helping ensure that ASOS continues to be a destination of choice in our industry.
The Details
- Responsible for defining and delivering ideal hiring strategies across several Corporate business areas including Finance, from attraction & candidate engagement through to selection and offer
- Make recommendations and drive best practice amongst the team regarding candidate & hiring manager experience
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including supporting hiring teams with scoping and drafting job descriptions, agreeing recruitment methods, advertising roles, screening CVs, conducting interviews and managing offers through to onboarding
- Manage candidate feedback ensuring a positive candidate experience from application to offer/decline
- Host new starter inductions and run workshops to upskill Hiring Managers on best practice
- Promote internal mobility by supporting ASOSers with career conversations and guiding them through the application and assessment journey
- Build strong relationships with PX team members, stakeholders, internal teams and suppliers ensuring alignment, collaboration and knowledge sharing
- Continuously look for new and innovative ways to improve the recruitment process to adapt to growing business demands
- Role model the ASOS values and behaviours and act as an ambassador for the business
- Work with Talent CoE to help promote ASOS as an employer of choice via content specific to your business areas for deployment across various social media channels and platforms.
- Lead on continuous improvement initiatives that add value and efficiency to the hiring process, as well as improving the overall talent experience
- Manage relationships with 3rd party providers including Terms and SLA negotiation
- Share regular insights, hiring data and market intelligence with key stakeholders, together with recommendations that support us attracting hiring and retaining top talent
- Plan and attend industry-specific events that will increase our reach to future talent
- Deputise where required / appropriate for the Talent Partner and support the development of the wider team
- Supporting our culture by championing Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategies.
Qualifications
About You
You'll be an experienced Recruiter with a consistent track record of high performance & knowledge within Finance and Corporate functions. You can effectively manage high volumes of vacancies within tight timelines, as well as stretch to manage the successful delivery of continuous improvement projects.
In addition, you should bring:
- Full-Cycle Recruitment Expertise: Proven experience managing the end-to-end recruitment process, from briefing to offer, across a variety of functions
- Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to build trusted relationships with hiring managers and senior leaders, acting as a strategic advisor on Talent Acquisition.
- Data-Driven Mindset: Proficient in using recruitment metrics and market insights to inform decisions, optimise processes, and report on performance (e.g. time to offer, source effectiveness, DEI metrics).
- Sourcing Innovation: Skilled in proactive sourcing strategies, including social media, Boolean search, talent mapping, and engaging passive candidates.
- Inclusive Hiring Approach: Passionate about inclusive and equitable hiring practices and experienced in building diverse talent pipelines.
- ATS & Tech Fluency: Comfortable using ATS (e.g SmartRecruiters) and HRIS (e.g. Workday), LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing tools.
- Employer Branding Awareness: Understands how to represent and promote the ASOS employer brand in a way that resonates with top talent for your business areas.
- Agility & Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities and pivot quickly.
- Engaging Presentation Style: Ability to confidently host new starter inductions and recruitment upskilling workshops for Managers
- Team Collaboration: Works well cross-functionally with colleagues across PX, Hiring teams and other stakeholders both internally and externally to deliver a seamless candidate and hiring manager experience.
- Commercial Acumen: Understands PX and business goals and how Talent Acquisition contributes to the company's success.
