Senior Receptionist | Operations

This is a full time office based role. Hours 8.30am - 5.30pm
Role Purpose:
The Reception team is at the heart of the Bank, naturally being the face of the business. This is an ideal role for someone who is approachable, reliable and proactive. Someone with a flexible approach and a 'can do' attitude who enjoys teamwork and delivering strong customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Providing a first point of contact for all UTB's external visitors
- Managing the reception area and Meeting Rooms:
- Meeting room co-ordinator
- Meeting/greeting guests
- Providing refreshments and lunches
- Managing switchboard (all staff have DDI) and dealing with general enquiries
- General Office Management duties, to include (but not limited to):
- Mailing - booking couriers, franking outgoing post and opening of post
- Managing Stationery and kitchen supplies; ordering/delivery
- Control of stock rooms and deliveries
- Control of document Archive collections and deliveries
- Staff/Meeting Room kitchens - maintain (incl dishwasher)
- Access Security (door passes and main reception)
- General Typing, Document Scanning & Filing support
- Assisting company PA's as and when required
Skills and Experience sought:
- 2 years plus front of house experience in a corporate environment
- Organising and managing with VIP events
- Strong MS Outlook (esp. meetings/calendar functions)
- Switchboard and customer call handling
- Exposure to Audio Visual and/or conferencing technologies
- Understand professional etiquette and have the emotional intelligence to engage with the visitors appropriately
- Have the passion, drive and attention to detail to deliver the very highest levels of customer service
- Professional appearance; adhering to professional dresscode standard
- Have great interpersonal skills, an outgoing and vibrant personality
- Have the ability to work well under pressure
- Strong communication and people skills
- Basic Switchboard skills
- Microsoft Outlook, basic Word, Excel & PowerPoint. MS Teams
- Demonstrate an excellent command of the English language, both in verbal and written communication
