Qualifications
Essential criteria
- BSc radiography degree or equivalent qualification in radiography
- HCPC Registration
- Continued Professional Development
Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Ability to take lead role
- Work under pressure
- Working knowledge of IR(ME)R
- Computer literate
Desirable criteria
- Experience in supervision of junior staff and students
- Previous experience in CT
Experience
Essential criteria
- Experience of working in a healthcare setting
- Experience of working as a radiographer post qualification
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to organise and prioritise
Desirable criteria
- Experience of using EPIC EPR and Sectra PACS
- Experience working as a senior radiographer
- Ability to take responsibility for day to day running of plain film and CT services
- Experience of taking an active part in QA programmes
