We're seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to play a key role in delivering cutting-edge solutions for AMP8.
In this role, you will serve as the commercial conscience of the integrated delivery team, ensuring cost control, value maximisation, and risk mitigation while upholding the highest standards of quality and safety. You will also ensure full compliance with Alliance and Anglian Water governance procedures, helping shape the future of sustainable infrastructure.
What you'll be doing
Key responsibilities:
- Lead all aspects of commercial and cost management for assigned projects, supporting the Project Commercial Manager.
- Implement robust cost management processes, ensuring accurate reporting, data analysis, and informed commercial decision-making.
- Ensure all project team members understand and adhere to contractual agreements, meeting the expectations of both clients and partner organisations.
- Collaborate with the Delivery Team to identify, implement, and monitor efficiency strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain comprehensive financial records, including final accounts, ensuring financial transparency for audits and cost assurance.

- Proven expertise in cost management and commercial operations within the construction sector.
- A passion for Commercial Management and a drive to deliver excellence.
- Strong leadership and customer service skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, contracts, and safety standards.
- A proactive mindset, comfortable challenging existing processes to enhance commercial outcomes.
- A degree (or equivalent) in engineering, management, or cost disciplines is highly desirable.
