The opportunity:

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor at Solomons Europe, you will act as a professional advisor embedded in client projects. Your secondments will be varied, offering opportunities to work with client organisations, Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors, and specialist subcontractors. Comprehensive training on NEC4® contracts will prepare you to lead in subcontract procurement, administration, and cost forecasting.

In this role, you will regularly liaise with the Solomons management team, sharing client insights and project updates. You will manage contract and commercial matters for clients, providing strategic commercial advice and analysis. Your role will involve identifying creative solutions to complex project problems, requiring collaboration and influence to drive the adoption of improved methods and processes.

What you'll bring to the role:

• Be educated to degree level or equivalent in Quantity Surveying / Procurement / Commercial Management / Engineering BSc (HNC/HND qualified candidates with the relevant experience may be considered).
• You will ideally be qualified or working towards the attainment of professional membership or qualification of an accredited professional institute (for example, RICS/CIPS/ICE or similar).
• Have a full UK driving license and access to a car to use for business travel (essential due to the locations of Client sites and Solomons Offices).
