This role is based out of our Canary Wharf office, placing you at the heart of one of the UK's most dynamic infrastructure hubs.
What you'll be doing
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll be at the forefront of commercial excellence, driving performance and leading a talented team. Your role will include:
- Owning commercial success across complex contracts or major project sections.
- Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Championing compliance, ensuring all commercial processes are followed to the highest standard.
- Leading and mentoring a team of Quantity Surveyors, helping them grow and thrive.
- Delivering strategic contract management, both main and subcontract, to support project goals.
- Partnering with operations to identify risks early and implement smart mitigation strategies.
- Driving safety leadership, contributing to a culture of care and accountability.
- Finalising accounts and ensuring commercial clarity throughout the project lifecycle.
- Upholding quality standards, continuously improving processes and outcomes.

Who we're looking for
We're looking for someone who's not just experienced - but passionate As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll be at the forefront of commercial excellence, driving performance and leading a talented team.
Essential:
- Proven experience in Quantity Surveying within a relevant project environment.
- Strong financial and commercial control capabilities.
- Demonstrated success in leading and developing teams.
- Skilled in dispute resolution and commercial negotiation.
Desirable:
- Full membership of a recognised professional body (e.g. RICS or CICES).
- Previous experience in the rail sector.
